Find accommodation in Swansea!

Once you have secured your place to study in Swansea, the next thing no doubt on your 'to do' list will be to find somewhere to live during your first year as a student. Please click here to make your application for accommodation.

Each year we house several hundred Clearing students in university accommodation, the good news this year is with the opening of 500 rooms on our new Bay Campus we have lots more accommodation available and many more Ensuite rooms, which are always highly sought after!

What happens if university accommodation is full?

Firstly, don’t panic, there’s an abundance of student houses in residential communities such as, Brynmill, Uplands, St Thomas and Port Tennant and we offer assistance in making sure that you are able to meet up with fellow 1st year students in the same situation as yourself to ensure that you find somewhere to live.

When our rooms are full, all new undergraduate students who we are unable to house in university accommodation will be invited to a Housing Fair.

The Housing Fair will be held in September. You must make an online application for accommodation by 1st September 2017 to receive an invitation to the Housing Fair. Only 1st-year students that we are unable to house will be invited to the Housing Fair.

The Housing Fair is hosted by Residential Services, SAS Lettings, and the Students’ Union: we’ve had a really positive response to this event in previous years. We offer 1 night on site accommodation, a ‘Meet and Greet’ social event on the first evening to meet each other, and set rooms aside with computers so you can search for student houses on our database Studentpad:

To ensure you can gain assistance from our Residential Services Department in securing suitable accommodation in Swansea, please make an application through our online system so we have your details and can get you started with your house hunting. For more information see: Accommodation
