Your Swansea University Email Account

We provide all members of the University with an email account that you can access via Outlook on a University-supported desktop, via a browser using the web and via mobile devices such as phones or tablets.

New Email Accounts


New staff should be provided with their email account by their start date. If you have not received your details, please contact Customer Services for advice. Staff email addresses are auto-created based on data held by the University’s HR department.

Staff can access their email:

  • On a University–supported device by clicking on the Microsoft Outlook icon in the Common Apps Folder in Zenworks
  • Via the web by going to
  • On their tablet or phone or by using an alternative email client

Please note that the use of email clients on personally-owned devices is supported but those devices are then subject to the University’s Computing Regulations .
