3D printing in technology has been use for automotive and aerospace engineering, construction, architecture, food and fashion. In medicine, 3D technology has opened up new and exciting capabilities for customisation in a wide variety of applications, and is being increasingly used for prosthetics, medical devices and human tissue.
A new report by Vision Gain forecasts the world market for 3D printing in the healthcare industry will be worth $4043 in 2018.
This NVI Network event will bring together academics and healthcare professionals from Wales and Birmingham to share insights and expertise in 3D Printing in Healthcare.
