The Welsh Varsity will take place in Cardiff this year with the sporting showpiece being held on Wednesday, April 10.
Varsity has been an ever-present on the sporting calendar for both Swansea University and Cardiff University since it began in 1997 and has gone from strength to strength each year.
Following a successful day in Swansea in 2018, the event will return to the capital city in 2019 where Cardiff are the current holders of both the Varsity Shield and Varsity Cup.
The Welsh Varsity is a festival of sport and will see students from both universities battle it out in 30 sports with the event culminating in the men’s rugby match at the Principality Stadium on the evening of April 10.
Ticket details will be announced shortly.
