Swansea University is hosting a networking breakfast for businesses and employers to find out about degree apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes in Computer Science, Management and Engineering.
The event is free to attend and takes place on Friday 8th February at the Computational Foundry on Bay Campus from 7.30am until 9am.
Degree Apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes are a partnership between employers and providers which aim to give people the opportunity to gain a degree while in full-time employment.
The programmes offer a pathway to a recognised qualification and professional competence combined with practical on-the-job experience, offering the opportunity to Earn While You Learn.
Bernadette Stratford, Associate Director of Academic Partnerships, said:
“This event will provide an opportunity for business to learn more about work-based learning programmes and the degree apprenticeship agenda in Wales.
“Businesses will also have the opportunity to express an interest in being part of Swansea University’s bid to deliver degree apprenticeships in South Wales for September 2019.”
