Hannah Hunt graduated in 2010 from Swansea University with a degree in Clinical Physiology. From this, Hannah went on to work full time at Llandough Hospital as a respiratory physiologist. This involved mentoring students that worked at the hospital on placements. This led Hannah to teaching and has been working at the University since October 2015 as a Lecturer. The degree programme that Hannah is a part of requires a mix of taught and practical sessions, in order for the students to fully engage with the range of skills needed to be a physiologist.
Outside of University, Hannah is a part of a Physiologically led sleep clinic at Llandough Hospital. She also plays bowls for the Welsh Women's team.
Hannah believes that you need to be patient at all times when dealing with patients, also having the ability to listen is very important. Hannah's advice to any student entering the field of physiology is to never rush a patient, it's important to make time for each individual, no matter how that impacts upon your time. It's important to the patient so it should be important to you too.
