For students starting in May 2018
If you are planning to start at The College in May 2018, please view the current accommodation options. If you continue to the autumn semester, you will have the opportunity to apply for Bay Campus accommodation, as described below.
Autumn 2018 Intake Onwards
Students of The College will have a dedicated residence on the Bay Campus, near the teaching building, and will be housed with other students of The College.
From September, student will live in one of the newly built Swansea University halls, with a choice of standard or premium ensuite rooms, before moving next door to The College’s own hall in January.
All rooms are equipped with a small double bed (known as 3/4 bed), a bedside chest, desk, chair, bookshelf, and storage for clothes as well as an ensuite with shower, toilet and wash hand basin. In addition, the room features blackout curtains, a pinboard, and mirror. You will have access to a shared kitchen and a number of communal facilities (see below).
Premium Ensuite Room
This room offer a larger room than the standard, a full double bed, plus an armchair and a drawer unit. As the standard room, it has a bedside chest, desk, chair, bookshelf and storage for clothes as well as blackout curtains, a pinboard and mirror. You will have access to a shared kitchen and a number of communal facilities (see below).
Rooms are arranged in flats of 4+ bedrooms, each having a Common Room with large screen TV and a large kitchen. All kitchens are equipped with cooker, hob, sink, microwave, kettle and fridge/freezer. Shared flats (4+ bedrooms) also have a breakfast bar and stools, coffee table and sofa. Please note that cutlery, crockery, and containers for separating residents’ food in fridges are not supplied.
All rooms are self-catered. In addition to a kitchen, there is a Tesco Express on campus and a range of catering and bar services on offer across the Bay Campus.
There is bicycle storage within the central accommodation courtyard. Residents have access to self-service laundry facilities, a gym, sports hall and outdoor sports facilities.
There is a dedicated reception area with mail room and help desk.
All rooms have broadband service and personal belongings insurance included in the rent.
There are rooms which are specially designed for students who are wheelchair users or who have visual or hearing impairments.

Prices are shown on a weekly basis for comparison; however, students will be offered a contract for their duration of their course including orientation activities.
Medium Ensuite: £144 per week
Premium Ensuite: £149 per week
