Dr Kerry Beynon is a Solicitor-Advocate specialising in commercial law and intellectual property law / IT at Acuity Legal Limited.  Before entering legal practice, she worked for the award winning IP Wales project which was aimed at protecting the intellectual property rights of small to medium sized enterprises and taught IP and contract law at the University of Wales Swansea (now Swansea University).

Dr Beynon has lectured nationally and internationally on intellectual property law and dispute resolution mechanisms to professionals, international corporations and public bodies. She has also provided continuing professional development services in these areas, being a freelance tutor for international business consultancy Kaplan Hawksmere and legal services provider Kaplan Altior. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is also a Solicitor-Advocate with higher rights of audience in both the civil and criminal courts.

In addition to acting for a range of commercial entities, she also acts for a number of charities and has provided advice on constitutional matters, framework agreements, trading agreements, brand partnership issues and charitable fund raising activities.
